ANTIQUA APARTMENTS

This is a 3-level, 7 apartment building with a penthouse unit located in the attic structure. It was designed to be built into the side of a mountain to maximize the views and is situated to overlook the bay on this beautiful island. ABP fabricated the light gauge steel wall panels, floor joists, metal decking and roof trusses.

The structure was fabricated and assembled in Fort Lauderdale and then shipped to the site for the installation. ABP also provided supervision for utilizing the local labor force and the structure was installed over a period of 3 months. In 2017, this building withstood a direct hit from 2 category 5 hurricanes, Irma and Maria, with no structural damage.
